Churchill College Boat Club is proud of the central role that it plays in College life, and has done for over sixty years. Rowing shapes College life for so many students each year, and alumni support plays a huge role in making this possible. Donations help to fund new blades, boats, and coxing equipment, as well as supporting trialling costs for students who want to row with CUBC. Last year the club ran a very successful training camp in Ely and was able to subsidise the camp in order to keep rowing accessible for all students.

If you would like to make a donation to support the club you can do so online through the link below, entering the Boat Club in the Comments section. If you would like to have a conversation about supporting specific areas of the club please contact the Development and Alumni Relations Office below.

“I cannot imagine my experience at Churchill without the boat club.”

“I started rowing at CCBC in my first year, and have continued until my final year. After I got my Cambridge offer, I watched the boat race, and decided that I would love to try rowing when I arrive at university. It was so easy to join, with events like the boat club BBQ and try rowing day, which ended up so enjoyable that I have never wanted to stop.”

“It is difficult to convey the gratitude we all have for the equipment and support provided by donors over the medium of text. So please come down and visit the boat club to see the impact the equipment and facilities has on so many of the students at Churchill College. Thank you!”
