If you’ve rowed or coxed before, at school, another university, or club, you can often go straight into the senior squad without novicing. The number of senior crews in Michaelmas Term always varies due to different levels of interest, but there will be plenty going on and races to aim for, including the Fairbairn Cup in December. Last year we entered one open crew and two women’s crews, as well as racing in Christmas Head. If you are interested please contact one of the captains and they will be able to point you in the right direction.
If you’re an experienced rower who is interested in joining the club after Michaelmas Term then we would love to have you! From Lent Term onwards all rowers join senior crews and start training for Lent and May Bumps, so there will be plenty of opportunities to row with us. Please get in touch with one of the captains and they will get you sorted out with a crew.
