On the 26th January, M1 took part in the Winter Head to Head on the Cam. M1 Captain Ross Tooley reports on the outcome of the two races:
M1 raced for the first time in 2019 in the CCRC Winter Head to Head, a 2 x 2k head race. We set a very fast time in our first leg and were significantly faster than most of our bumps rivals. The way back against the stream and wind was trickier and we lost some ground, but overall we came a respectable 9th and are optimistic going into the term.
